Forging Shop






Since 1957 Forging Shop manufactures forgings for power, chemical and machinery industries.

After the modernization of the machines and equipment in 1992-1996 Forging Shop became competitive to other manufacturers of forgings, especially in production of small and medium quantity lots

We have Quality Assurance Certificate of the manufacturer of materials in conformity with Directive 97/23/EC No. CSU/130/WM/PED/2006 and Quality Assurance System Certificate to AD Merkblatt WO/TRD 100.

We have big experience in industry and modernized stock of machines, we apply Quality Assurance System to PN-EN ISO 9001, we have acceptance approvals and UDT approval No. LB.028/10 for Testing Laboratory.

We make forgings from:

  • carbon steel: S235JRC (1.0120), S275JR (1.0044), P245GH (1.0352), C35 (1.0501), C45 (1.0503), C55 (1.0535);
  • alloy steel: S355J2G3 (1.0570), 16Mo3 (1.5415), 13CrMo4-5 (1.7335), 11CrMo9-10 (1.7383), 14MoV6-3 (1.7715), 21CrMoV5-7 (1.7709), X10CrMoVNb9-1 (1.4903);
  • stainless steel: X12Cr13 (1.4006), X20Cr13 (1.4021), X17CrNi16-2 (1.4057), X39CrMo17-1 (1.4122), X6CrNiTi18-10 (1.4541);
  • and brass.

We offer::

  • open die forgings of unit weight 5 to 120 kg, in diameters 120 to 500 mm, length/thickness 150/1500 mm, such as discs, cubes, discs with holes, rings forged on mandrels, bars, rods;
  • half-open die forgings forged in set sleeves of unit weight 5 to 80 kg;
  • die forgings of unit weight 0.2 to 20 kg, in diameters 120 to 310 mm, length/thickness 120/300 mm, with circular or complex profile, in the range of: flanges DN 15 to 150 mm (PN 16, PN 40, PN 100) in compliance with Polish Standards, DIN, ANSI, gear wheels, tees OD < 76 mm, max. length < 250 mm, valve parts DN 15 to DN 50, PN 40 to PN 320;
  • forgings made from non-ferrous metals of unit weight 1 to 2 kg, in diameters 120 to 150 mm;
  • tube pointing
  • reducing pipes pointing

Testing of forgings (standard tests in accordance with EN 10222 series and PN-92/H-94009):

On purchaser’s request forgings can be subjected to additional testing:

  • destructive testing (impact strength at room and low temperature, yield point at temperatures up to 550°C, micro- and macrostructure, intercrystalline corrosion resistance)
  • non-destructive testing (magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, ultrasonic examination).
